Recovery issues! I messed up!!! D:

Acer Aspire 5517-5535 - athlon 64 tf-20...

Specs: Windows 7
I have an Acer Aspire 5517 and I had decided to do a system recovery, so I started making the recovery discs with the eRecovery program. It was verifying the first disc, which was taking forever, so I made my first mistake of stopping the verification and just starting the recovery process direct from the hard-drive. I left it alone for a few hours and came back to see it stuck at 32% completed. I remembered that the disc was still in the drive, so I took it out, making the computer give me an error and I had to reboot it. Now I have no computer and no way (that I know of) to fix it. Please help!!!!!!

drop in the repair cd, if you didnt make one yet go here http://neosmart.net/blog/2009/windo...
try repair, then system restore. if it fails you can do a factory restore, however this deletes all your c: drive and reinstalls your machine to the day you bought it.
Acer offers a recovery partition (accessed by pressing Alt +F10 at Startup) follow the instructions.
i personally prefer to create an image of my system to an external drive using the win 7 backup and restore image tool, rather than using dvd,s. this has never failed for me.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
