Recover Win 7 files accidentally deleted

I accidentally delete a file that was located in the computer>gateway c: area, whenever i open a file it prompts me to use a file to open it, please help

Have you also accidently deleted it from the trash bin.
Simply open the trash bin and restore the file.

I wonder, how one can accidently delete files twice.
I've no idea.

What about system restore to a date before it was deleted?

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

thats what i tried first and the restore points that i had didnt work for some reason, my computer went through the process restarted itself and when it turned back on everything was the same

everything on my comp isnt that important, its either just games, photos, or old school work, could i do a system wipe and recovery? i just want to fix this computer cheaply lol, thanks for the help too, btw.
