recomended motherboard/ cpu

Specs: Windows 7, amd athlon2 x2 dual core
Ihave an e machines et1331g-05w. I just bought a 700w psu and i need to find a good motherboard/cpu combo. Preferably a quad core with a 2,6ghz or higher chip.Also recommend a video/graphics card?

If you just bought a new machine, why do you want to replace everything. I can see upgrading the power supply and adding a graphics card, but scrapping the whole machine, which is what you'll be doing doesn't make sense. What are you trying to accomplish?

Might as well get the core i7 and go from there.

If you want a bit cheaper get the x6 AMD.

This appears to be a brand new machine from WalMart that sells for $379. Right?

Nice catch grasshopper.

An i7, motherboard, memory, and psu will cost more than that.

If you want to upgrade, return it and buy something else.
