Specs: Windows 7, 4gb
After scouring the net..seems a common problem thats not resolved, after upgrading from vista to windows 7 on a acer machine.this problem is a safemode reboot...yeah only happens when trying to get into safemode.you see all the lines scrool down to one of the .sys files then after a short pause...dreaded REBOOT ...the only thing that works getting into safemode is the last known configuration...is there a solution for this?

Did you use Windows 7 compatibility checker on MS site? If not, check with Acer to see if it is compatible. If it is not, try a system recovery from your recovery partition to go back to Vista. If compatible, you may still need to download drivers for your system and install them in safe mode. Either way, FIRST BACK UP YOUR FILES if you still can (if you have not already).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.
