Solved Reballing when 2 balls are fused together

July 9, 2014 at 16:14:59
Specs: Windows 7, AMD V-140/2GB
Could someone explain how to "reball" when 2 balls are fused together? I`ve seen in a couple comments that reballing solved boot-up problems (emachines 442-V140). I`m experiencing the same problem.
Thanks for the answer in advance!

Never having come across the term before, I dun a wee trawl out there in www-land. One lives and learns...

This article may help you decide your path... Personally it's not something I would seriously entertain - and I do have practical experience with fine soldering on pcb kit...

Unless you have BGA repair equipment (quite expensive), the likelihood that you'll ruin a card trying to remove the chip is high...

We have one where I work, but since we don't place BGA's on any of the boards, the training we received on it has been forgotten...
