Questions about Windows 7 Recovery Commander

Specs: Windows 7
Is there a way to control Recovery Commander manually? Right now it keeps popping up every time I go to a new screen ro program and freezes everything while it sets the new "recovery point". I would like to be able to choose when it does that.

Recovery Commander??? Are you taking about Windows System Restore system or another program? Or do you have a virus or other infection that is causing you to think your freezing is caused by a windows system? Windows system restore will make a restore point anytime you make a major change, like when you launch a program installer, just before windows update begins installing, and about once a week otherwise. If you have another program duplicating this process, uninstall it!! If not, then run Malwarebytes to double check your antivirus program for an infection it may have missed.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

you do not need any third party recovery/restore or imaging software with win 7, check the backup and restore, it does everything you want and does it very well.
more than one recovery program may cause issues and will certainly waste space

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

Recovery Commander appears to be a legitimate program designed to run under Win98 through XP.

It is not designed to run under Windows 7 nor is it necessary. Remove that program.
