If you mean Uniblue Driver Scanner then it shouldn't be asking for anything to do with a proxy. What exactly is the message you are getting & can you tell which program is giving the message?

Why are you using Uniblue? Driver scanners are not a good way to go.

What drivers do you think you need and why - symptoms?

Drivers are best obtained from your computer suppliers website.
