Problems with installing Win 7 on WD 2TB HDD

Specs: Windows 7, 4gb
i have a problems installing windows 7 on my hard disk 2tb wd can not boot from this disk it asks the system partion is on other disk is there anything to configure in bios i have gigabyte motherboard p43-es3g 4 gm ram.

With the 2TB drive you may need to make sure your BIOS is treating the drive as a true SATA rather than emulating an IDE drive.
Make sure your DVD drive is first in your boot order. You may also need to 'hit any key to boot from CD/DVD drive'
You need to choose Custom during the install to initialize, partition, and format the drive.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

i still have problems it can not make system partition, i have gigabyte motherboard is there anything to configure is bios, thanks !!

If you want this drive to have the boot partition on it then remove or unplug any other drives. When the Windows install disk sees only this drive it will install the boot partition when you partition the drive. If you already have it installed on it then also unplug the other drives and put in the install disk again and restart, but choose start up repair and this will locate and install the boot sector and the drive will be bootable. You can then plug in the other drives and you are fine.
