Problem with new Win7 Dell laptop from Amazon

Specs: Windows 7
Just bought the following computer from Amazon, "Dell Inspiron iM501R-1459MRB 15.6-Inch Laptop (Mars Black)", but it keeps freeze quite often without any warning. I have to power off and restart it. I have followed the instruction to update BIOS and DRIVERS. I don't know why it freezes as a new computer. If I don't have solution, I have to return it to Amazon.

I would just return it. You paid for a working laptop and the freezing could be many things. Don't mess with it or you can void your warranty.

It may be that you did also pay for service from dell too. It may be that they should come to your hone and fix it.

I'd be sure I understood the warranty issue first.

You may not be able to return it for a full refund or exchange with stupid dell. They may require you to wait on the phone to some goof for 3 week.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
