Solved Problem removing Administrative Center from client computer

May 18, 2012 at 01:04:15
Specs: Windows 7 64 bit
I have a problem: I have installe Active Directory Administrative Center on a client computer in my domain. Now I need to remove it, but it does not show on the add/remove programs -list. I tried to remove it by the mmc console, but it does not disappear from the start menu, no matter how many times I remove the snap in.

Nope, that did not solve the problem. But your tip was excellent because it led me taking a look at adding or removing Windows components. That was the right place to remove the administrative center. Thank you!

can you not just right click on the item in the start menu and either delete or unpin?

Yes, I can, but that really doesn't remove the snap-ins, does it?

under control panel add and remove, have you tried to select 'view installedupdates' ?

that 'may' display the ADC in the list, then you can uninstall from there.
