printer is dead but still has power button on

Specs: Windows 7
No "job" lights displayed. Computer says I have 6 jobs pending. Plugged, unplugged, nothing. It IS getting power--that light is on--nothing else--DEAD! kodak officehero 6.1

Is it a new printer, try updating the printers firmware and drivers or check either the data cable or the power.

If you have 6 jobs in the queue you probably have a corrupted file in this queue. Delete all jobs waiting to be printed and try again.

deesguide, something else you might try (sorta along the same lines as clearing the queue manually).
Most all computer related devices (printers, modems, etc.) have 'dynamic' memory which requires power to stay 'alive as well as 'static' memory which is burned into the chip. Simply unplug the power cord for 30 seconds or so, plug it back in and try again.
