What make and model is your computer; and how old.

If a laptop, does behave like this when on mains power, or just on battery?

What do you mean by "a time"? All computers take some time to boot up.

You show 1GB RAM but no other detail. Your computer is either very old, has much too little RAM, or your specs are not up to date.
Please tell us what you have, make, model, version of Windows, basic specs. etc.

In general if a computer takes a long time to boot up the problems are:
Too many programs starting with Windows
Too little memory (RAM)
Low space on hard drive (should be at least 15% free space)
Old/outdated version of Windows
Too many outdated and unused programs installed
Spyware/Adware/Malware, Virus, or other infection
many other reasons.

Let us start with your specs and the easier ones first and we can work our way to finding the issue.
It would also be helpful to know if the issue has been that way a long time, suddenly happening, or gradually been slowing down. It would also be good to know if the system in general is slow or has other problems, even if apparently unrelated.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
