I'd guess a bad keyboard connection near the ps connector then.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

The jack in the board (internal) for the power supply may be near where the keyboard is plugged in and one or both may be loose (keyboard plug, or solder connection on the jack to the board). Open it to look, or just have a pro do it.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
