Please help me with Windows 7 upgrade

Specs: WindowsXP, 1280 mb
My Motherboard is Intel D865GBF. When I Setup Windows 7, My Sound Drive Do not Work Or support(Sound Max). So How Can I Solve This Problem.. I want To Use Windows 7.. Now My Os Is Windows xp... I'll very glad If You know me.. Thank You

Intel officially has no Windows 7 drivers for your motherboard since it has been discontinued. You have to find a compatible driver to download as a workaround to get the AC'97 sound working on your PC.

Try Windows Update & see if the Soundmax driver will work for your sound chip.

Or you could probably just purchase a sound card for $10.00 to $15.00, turn off the sound in your BIOS and bypass that completely..... Might be easier.
