Playing games on Windows 7

Specs: Windows XP
I want to play wolfteam and I'm gonna shift from OS WinXP to Windows 7. My game laggs a lot on XP..Dont have a graphic card. It's onboard motherboard. Sys model is PI945GZD. Processor is Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60 GHz. RAM 1GB...Any suggestions?

Reload XP with a slimmed down version. Many web pages show how.

Then load games and run.


Windows 7 will not improve most current games over xp as many tests seem to suggest. I guess you could try to slim down Win 7 and try it for a game only setup and see how it works.

Lags need to be determined in performance testing but without a quality video card there is little point in going on.

check the game before moving to windows 7. from past experience win 7 is not a very friendly game system. I have several that state that they have been designed for win 7 and just won't work on it at all. Let MS get the bugs out first.

If you want to game, you need to bite the bullet & get a "real" video card. Whatever issues you are having now isn't going to disappear when you upgrade to Windows 7.
