Play type .2 file in Windows 7

July 9, 2010 at 18:54:08
Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, 3 GHz / 1919 MB
On occasion somebody sends me an attachment that is a file type .2. It won't play on my computer. What should I do to make it play?

For personal reasons I don't want to ask the sender what it is. He may not even know.

If you know it is a file then shorten the name and add in some extension like wmv or mpg?

I support the 'Everybody Draw Mohammed Day'. A religion doesn't deny my freedom.
