Solved PDF files open in wordpad when opened from the internet.

Specs: Windows 7
Adobe is loaded, PDF files open OK in e-mail or saved file format but not from the internet.

File association look OK.

Check to see if 'adobe pdf reader' is selected as an add-on in TOOLS--MANAGE ADD-ONS.

Tools> Options> Applications Tab and select the default program for each file type. You should have the option for PDF's to open within a browser window with Reader (imbedded) or to open with Reader by itself (a new window). This is in Firefox but in IE it is similar if I remember correctly.

See #3 above for instructions for Firefox to fix. I had to do similar at work on a few machines.
