PDF files blurs when highlighting text in W7

Specs: Windows 7 64-bit, AMD 965BE Quad
I recently installed Win7 64-bit and Acrobat reader 9, and i'm having some strange problems viewing PDF files. If I try to select text or highlight a line in a PDF, the text of the entire PDF blurs and bleeds horribly.

Also, when I try scrolling through a PDF, the text blurs horribly and becomes unreadable. This only happens if I click and drag the slider or click the up/down arrows. If I scroll using mouse wheel, it doesn't blur. Likewise, if I drag the reader window around, the text blurs badly.

In fact, if I just leave the reader ALONE on screen, the text starts to slowly blur and bleed until it's unreadable.

To show what I mean I uploaded a screenshot of what it looks like which you can see below.


Does anyone know what could be causing this or how I might remedy this?

how much memory is installed on your PC?

you might try this pdf reader, i find it far easier on my system

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

Figured this out after stumbling across a related thread elsewhere. Edit -> Preferences -> Page Display -> uncheck use 2d graphic acceleration fixed it thankfully
