Hello everyone, I am using Windows 7 on Optiplex GX280. Everything is working fine except i don't have an aero-supporting graphic card. I want to buy a cheap ATI Radeon PCI express 128mb graphic card which supports aero. Can you people tell me which model will be the best?

What do you have now? Have you read the specs for running Aero?

Look at the radeon 4650. It has low power consumption and doesn't need an extra plug. It runs off the mobo pci-e slot. You should still have a 400 watt power supply. Also check your bios settings. You need to have virtualization enabled.

Well thats that.. But i mean can't i go for something cheaper around 50$ or so.. Because i have to stay in a budget. I will buy a proper card 512mb of nvidia later but right now i just need a temporary 128mb graphic card. Here in Pakistan i m getting ATI card PCI express 128 mb for almost 1200 rupees that is equals to 13$. I just want to know which model of ATI with 128 mb supports aero!
