Pci controller error

Specs: Windows 7, Dou Core
I have an HP Probook 4520s, running Windows 7. I never turn my laptop off, I just close the lid. 2 days ago I opened the lid and it had turned itself off. Pressed the power button and got the message "PCI CONTROLLER ERROR" 7 or 8 times and "PRESS F10 TO ENTER NET BIOS"
It would boot to safe mode but when I tried to log in with my password it stalled and did nothing.
I enetered NET BIOS and reset to DEFAULT SETTINGS. Rebooted and now all it does is turn on amd off perpetually, non stop until I unplug the power cord and pull the battery. Doesnt matter if I am on battery power or plugged in to the wall. I can no longer enter net bios either. There is no control funtions what so ever.

I should also add that I ran diagnostics in bios (memory and hard drive diag.), and everything came back fine...Hmmm.
And now as it turns itself on and off, there is nothing on the screen. Completely black.
I contacted HP and they want me top send it back to them, initially they said it was the power cable, but I had my electrician check it out and it is fine, I also bought a new one to make sure that I had proper power to my laptop.
