PC Slows down when downloading torrents start

Specs: Windows 7, core i-3 650 / 8GB RAM
Hi all, i do have the similar problem...i'm using chinese software name Thunder Download for downloading torrents for few years no problem. Until recently my pc whole system become slows and even will not responding once i start the downloading torrents.

I did reformat windows 7, update my driver & i'm using kaspersky internet security 2016.

My desktop spec is Intel core i3-650, 8GB RAM, semi modular 700w power supply & normal seagate 500GB HDD for windows & 1 unit 2TB seagate HDD & 1 unit 4TB seagate HDD.

Please advice. Thanks you all.

Your ISP may be blocking torrent downloads as torrent sites are often used to download pirate software & movies.

Many ISPs are now cracking down on that.

I see, so bro do you have any solution on it ? if i normal downloading speed below 1mbps my pc respond not so slow...but when my downloading speed up to 5-6mbps then my pc slows like not responding but after leave it a while, it can respond back then back to slows til not responding again...Thanks for the reply bro..

If you open Task Manager tab Processes (for all users) any process(es) with high CPU value except the System Idle Process?

So after you reformatted your computer, did you reinstall any software you previously downloaded from the torrent site?

Many torrent downloads have viruses, you may have just reinfected your system which could be the cause of slow downloads

That should rule out the torrent software as the problem. THX 1138 could be onto something. Run a full scan for viruses & malware.
