Since recently PC failed to run System Event Notification Service at start up. This has been going together with the mess up in my desktop, which, after every restart puts all my icons back on the left side again. Relationship ?

Johnw,

Have tried your suggestions, like the answers to the last question I asked, and this also was not helpful. Butttt ! It seems that the Win7 (big) update I installed yesterday did the trick. There must have been something that was changed in the original file, which must have been changed to a better updated original. Hope the language is OK.

Thanks
