Partition without OS

Specs: Windows 2007
I need to partition without using OS cd.
Laptop i bought has only C drive of 320GB, i need to create 3 more drives. Please help me.

Not too sure what you mean, you need to use an OS of some
sort to do the partitioning, even if it's only DOS or Linux. If you
already have Win7 installed then you can mess around with the
partition(s) in Administrative Tools, though make sure you know
what you are doing if you don't want to lose any data.

I agree with you but am wondering if the lesser versions of Windows 7 have that ability. The OP has a Dell. Probably Windows 7 home edition on there.

Home Premium certainly has the same Disk Management
facility within Administrative Tools so I see no reason why not,
though I don't particularly want to experiment with my son's
laptop as he may not be very amused ;-)
