ParetoLogic Privacy Control license key lost

I have bought a program, ParetoLogic Privacy controls, on-line from a supplier (not necessarily from ParetoLogic, since they do not want to, or cannot, help) whose details I no longer have, and the problem is that it froze, so eventually I decided that since I had the download file still on the computer, I would delete and re-install the program. I fre-installed and Alas! It asked for a licence key, which I did not record. Presumably, it is buried in the registry? How can I find it, please?

If you purchased the software in question from ParetoLogic or an authorized supplier then they will help you.
If you did not, we cannot help you.

In a commercial program I think it doubtful that licensing information would be written in clear text anywhere in the registry.

I thank you for your reply. At this time, I am unable to remember the vendor's details. Were I able to I would contact them because, at the time of purchase, I had a minor installation problem so contacted them and they responded in a professional manner. ParetoLogic's helpline's semi-automated replies keep asking for the licence key and that is precisely what I'm trying to find. I am baffled that another vendor may sell a program, on the internet, without authority.Regards
