I didn't get one with my Packard Bell laptop either. You are supposed to make your own recovery disc when you first buy the laptop and it's working okay. There's a Packard Bell utility provided in Windows which you use to create the backup CD. Obviously that's no good to you now.

Contact Packard Bell. They might be able to supply a recovery CD for your laptop model, though if it's past a certain age you may be unlucky.

In that event, you will have to ask your relatives and friends if they've got the exact same model as you so you can make a recovery disc on their laptop.

Any idea why you are seeing this message? Did you start the recovery process?

To err is human but to really screw things up, you need a computer!
