Secret is, get rid of outlook express and either use a yahoo or gmail carrier....if your PC crashes you don't lose anything.
I haven't used outlook since my 1st ISP years ago, because I thought I needed it to get my mail while using that carrier.....WRONG....the web-based e-mails are much better now.

You can import all your addresses from OE, no problem

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers

I'm not sure on your repair, since I no longer use outlook, BUT webmail is NOT right for everyone! If you would like to try Mozilla Thunderbird instead of Outlook like I do, it is a free download. If looks much like outlook, can copy your addressbook and your existing and saved emails, and I believe works better. (I will no longer pay for office and outlook no longer is included anyway, it's extra! See openoffice.org for everything else.) You can still keep or switch back to outlook if you like, but to move back recently received emails, you would have to forward them to yourself.
