only works in safe mode

Dell / Inspiron1564

Specs: Windows 7
Whilst using my Dell Inspiron 1564 laptop a few nights ago i received a blue error message which forced my laptop to shutdown. On trying to switch it on again i found that i couldn't. Several messages appeared RE problems with hard drive

After trying several system restores etc I had to restore to factory settings and managed to get it working last night. All i did then was run a mcafee scan and install my vodafone mobile connect internet (which would not work due to an error). Woke up this morning and can not get the computer to work in normal mode. Can get to desktop screen but nothing will load when i click on it not even start menu or internet

Have managed to get it to work in Safe Mode but really need it to be fully operational.

Anybody have any ideas what the problem may be and how i can fix it.
I would call dell support but it's Sunday and not open and I am currently living in Spain for a year and the cost will be immense from my mobile.

check disk would be the 1st thing to do. auto fix damaged etc..

doing a factory reset has proved its not a driver,

you may have a loose memory chip, you can reseat them see if that helps.
also reseat the hard drive it may have vibrated loose.
both of these items should be accessable via the small panels on the base of the laptop.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
