one off my drive is not showing

Specs: Windows 7
I went to do something with partition magic (it recognized something with the pointers I believe, so I allowed it to automatically fix the error) and now I'm not even able to access Partition Disk #0, Partition #1 which is a drive that I used to store data (No OS). It doesn't appear in 'My Computer', but does appear in Disk Management but it doesn't seem like I can do anything with it besides delete the partition. There's a lot of data that I have stored and I don't want to lose it all.

I used a partition tool to find out what sectors each of the partitions are starting at and for one of them it's sector 15 and the other it is sector 33. I'm not sure if that has any significance to my problem, but just thought I'd let it be known.

Program: Disk Managemet
Error Message: "The operation failed to complete because the Disk Management console view is not up-to-date. Refresh the view by using the refresh task. If the problem persists close the Disk Management console, then restart Disk Management or restart the computer.

I've been in that sorta situation before where I didn't want to delete or format a disk when it was partitioned and couldn't access it and needed the info. What I did was, download a file recovery software, recovered all my stuff, saved it somewhere else then formatted the drive and restarted fresh. I used EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro.

Hope this helps.

try recovering the data with "Recuva" its free and works well, even if you have done a, you dont need partition magic so much, win7 partition will do most of what you want without overcomplicating the situation.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

Sometimes you just need to reassign a drive letter in Disk Manager.... Worth a try anyway.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
