OEM Windows 7 disc

Specs: Windows Vista
I have a lap top which I have had to purchase a new hard drive the laptop had windows 7 on it and I have the licence code but I have no disc to reboot the system with the new hard drive in it what do I need to do

you might be able to download an image from the vendors website, or you can contact them to see if they can send you one (they might charge you) alternatively if you can access the other drive you can copy the recovery partition (i think) onto the new drive, but someone with more experience with this sort of thing will need to help you.

you can put your old hard drive in a external drive case, in win 7 go to the backup and restore center, create a system image of your old C: drive the image will let you totally replace the c; drive , use a repair cd to boot into the windows repair console on your new machine and choose to use the image you made to install your old OS.
or you can do a data copy of the old drive to the new drive.i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

In some cases you should have had an opportunity to create disks when you first got the laptop.
