object error locks up my screen

April 11, 2013 at 12:28:40
Specs: Windows 7
A small box pops up from time to time that says object error and it locks up the screen. When I press ok it comes right back. The only way I can get rid of it is to move the box up to the window x and try to click them both in quick sucsession.

I think you are talking about it happening in IE.

Lets start here & once I see the logs, shall go from there.

1: Run AdwCleaner
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivi...
http://www.softpedia.com/progScreen...
http://general-changelog-team.fr/en...
http://www.raymond.cc/blog/adwclean...
Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.
Close all open programs and internet browsers.
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Click on Delete.
Confirm each time with Ok.
Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

2: Run Junkware Removal Tool
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Securi...
http://www.softpedia.com/progScreen...
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
http://thisisudax.blogspot.com.au/2...
Download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
Warning! Once the scan is complete JRT will shut down your browser with NO warning.
Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
Temporarily disable your antivirus and any antispyware real time protection before performing a scan. Click this link to see a list of security programs that should be disabled and how to disable them. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/for...
Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, right-click JRT and select Run as Administrator
The tool will open and start scanning your system.
Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
Copy and Paste the JRT.txt log into your next message.

I downloaded and ran adwcleaner, and then my computer started acting up. it would not respond when I clicked on anything on my desk top. When I restarted it the startup was real slow. I did a factory reset and thought it was ok, but it is still slow starting. I tried to do a complete factory reset and it wouldn't go to the right screen.
I got to the advanced repair screen but when I hit repair it didnt go to screen to choose the keyboard layout. It went to repair my computer or restart windows. When I hit repair my computer the screen weent black and then back to the same screen.
I think it is running ok now. I downloaded panda cloud antivirus and super aantispyware.
Only time will tell.
