Specs: Windows XP
Dear users,
I have a 7 year old Dell Dimension 8400, 4GB ram, 500 Wat power supply which runs great. It came with a NVIDIA GeForce 6800 258MB which has been functioning Ok until recently.
As I considered that the OEM card was malfunctioning which it wasn't, I ordered the NVIDIA GeForce 9500GS 512MB as a replacement upgrade.
Do you think it's wise to use the new card instead of the OEM, specially considering I'm not a gamer?

Thank you
Arturo

its should be no problem to use the card, and you may see better performance in video as general use too, try it, if you dont think its worth the upgrade take it out and try to sell it, or you may be able to return the item.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

Thanks for the reply.
The new card only cost me $40 and it must be at least marginally superior.
