Buy a new hard disk. That one is on it's way out. Lucky you found out whilst trying to install the OS rather than when you had spent time setting it all up.

Ok thanq ijack...I want to take back up of D drive. How can i do this. To buy new hard disk for laptops how much it will cost. I'm using acer 4720z laptop right now i've only 160GB hard disk.

You can use the software utility from the new hard drive manufacturer to clone the old drive as it is over to a new drive but you will need to use a desktop to do this. If the D drive is your recovery partition then this should work to reinstall your operating system but if you choose a larger drive you will end up with unallocated space on the drive after the D drive. You can later make this into another drive for storage though.
Another way if this is your recovery partition is to get a recovery disk set (DVD's) from the system manufacturer to reinstall your system onto a new hard drive (at a reasonable price typically).
If this D drive is remaining personal files, you can purchase an external hard drive case (USB) and later copy the files over to a new partition you can create on your new hard drive.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
