Specs: Windows 64
no internet browser will open at all to the screen except internet explorer 64-bit and this one does not allow me to use adobe flash. i have reset my router and uninstalled AVG but no change. it does not allow me to use skype, oovoo, yahoo, etc. the other laptops in my household can connect to the internet fine using mozilla, google chrome, etc. so i realized it was a problem with my laptop. i checked the computer prompt and there is nothing in that at all. (such as numbers and codes.) my internet has worked on this laptop before but resently stopped working. i have uninstalled just about everything on my laptop and have checked the security settings but nothing seems to work. i have the HP Pavilion dv6-2155dx. i would apprecitate the help soon please.

- thank you in advance.

Try a system restore to a date before you began seeing this problem (a week or more prior if possible). If this does not help, run Malwarebytes to make sure that an infection did not get past AVG.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
This site is about helping people, lets keep it that way.

if all else fails, save your files and run the image the should have made when the sytem was running perfectly, if you didnt make an image, run a factory restore after saving your files..then copy over your files...

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
