July 21, 2013 at 17:24:37
Specs: Windows 7
HP desk top running win 7 and IE 10
problem IE will not recognize either java run time or adobe flash player
I tried fire fox same thing
I've made sure the java radio button is check in internet preferences under advance security.
I've used uninstall and registry cleaner to clear up left over files.
Tried reinstalling both programs from off line no positive result there either.
I've verified that both programs are listed and enabled in IE 10 manage add-ons
Where do I go from here?

In control panel, click on Java.
When it's started, click the security tab and make sure, that Java content in Browser is activated.

You might have installed the 64bit version of java, which will not get listed in firefox.
I don't know, whether it gets listed in IE10.
Anyway, firefox e.g. is further a 32-bit program and will work only with 32-bit java version.
There are also some other difficulties running the 64-bit java version, which leads me, to uninstall 64-bit java and install 32-bit java.
