No partitions on my pc

Specs: Windows 7, 4gb
I am trying to reformat my pc with windows 7 ultimate (I am already running it so now i just want to reformat it back to basics) But when i choose Custom Advanced (deletes all files and programs) and then it tells me to choose a partition thier are is nothing in the box where im supposed to choose and i cannot click Next either, whats wrong?

Dumb W7. I had trouble too with trying to get rid of a Vista partition. I used a live linux cd to delete the partition. Not sure why I had so much trouble but the linux cd worked.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

Kisageru please provide the particulars of HOW you are starting up to format the partition.

Do you have multiple partitions?

I am using a win 7 ultimate rom (Downloaded from MSDN through my college so it's all legal) and i am using daemon tools to mount the image, I'm lacking a burner on my pc i installed win 7 by mounting it from win xp also i don't know how to check my partitions.
