no color in windows 7 extended diplay

Specs: Windows 7
I recently upgraded from Vista to Windows7. It took me a while and a driver update before I could get my extended display to work. Now there is no color on my extended display (Toshiba Plasma screen TV). Everything worked perfectly while using Vista. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO on a Dell Inspiron 530. Any ideas?

Unplug and re connect the video cable.
You may need to adjust the properties of the extended display.

If you see something on the extended monitor, there is color, it may be black and white, though.

I suggest you uninstall the drivers both in the Control Panel\Programs and features and in the Device Manager\Uninstall-remove the graphics card. Reboot several times for complete uninstallation of the drivers.

Reinstall the drivers that you download from Dell support.

Your gfx card is very old. If you try drivers from AMD, then, do not download the latest drivers. The ones from 2009 ( maybe earlier ) should be sufficient.
