No boot menu for XP & W7 running on laptop

Specs: Windows XP and win 7 64 bit, intel(R)core(TM) i3 CPU/2.92 of Ram
i have dell inspiron installed win 7 64 bit in drive c...then i installed win xp in drive d...
now normally the two system should be appear in the startup windows...this is not happened ...just win xp work and win 7 don't appear...why and how to repair?

You should always install the older OS first, obviously it has no knowledge of a new one.
By installing XP after Windows 7 you have deleted the W7 bootloader and can no longer boot W7.
Download (free) EasyBCD to fix the bootloader. >
