Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits, 8.0 G
Is there an auto logoff after xx minutes not being used in win 7 a feature which winxp pro had?

Not that I know of.. however, there is a very simple script you can right where you can tell the computer to shut off after a certain amount of time. Although it might sound more complicated than what it really is, trust me, its extremely simple.

Copy and paste the below code into notepad:
shutdown -s -f -t 300

The number 300 is the number of seconds. And I believe it works for Windows 7 as well, but that shutdown can be replaced with logoff.

m_aizon have you looked at the win7 screen saver setup? this is where you set the time for the screen saver to engage and check the box for require logon
