New USB 3.0 SATA/IDE HDD dock Doesn't work with IDE drives.

Specs: Windows 7
I bought a USB 2.0 dock and now a USB dock. They are both USB to IDE/SATA docks, the first one the IDE drive didn't spin up, but the sata worked with many drives. The new one the sata also works ok and the IDE spins up but is never recognized, I have tried about 5 different known good drives and 4 different manufactures. NO IDE drive is recognized. I tried power on then insert the drive, power off usb disconnected usb connect every combination I could do, nothing works. Jumpers on.off/master/slave/cs. I have also read many other people with the same problem. There must be something common here. Does anybody have any new data on this problem?
Win 7 or compatibility modes

I would suggest that you contact the tech support for the manufacture of the USB dock that you purchased. If it does not work with multiple known drives than it is either the drive is defective or you do not have the proper drivers for it. Since you did not specify what brand assume you can find their site and tech support info.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

2 different ones 2 different sellers, both generic Chinese.
I have another IDE only that works fine, no drivers needed.
The computer recognizes the dock and the SATA but not the IDE so what drivers could possibly be needed for that? I have several other Ide to USB cable adapters all work none need drivers.
They sell them also on Amazon with the same number YPZ06SI-U3
