Solved New SSD to boot windows.7

Specs: Windows 7
Just installed windows on a new SSD however Windows won't let me open any programs because all addresses for them are for drive C: and all my program files are still on drive F: I can't put the program files on drive C: because the SSD is only 120gb.

Is there anyway I can change it so that windows automatically looks for programs on drive F: (My HDD which contains all the program files) rather than trying to open them from drive C: which only contains my windows files for boot?

You will have to remove your existing programs from drive F: since their paths are now invalid. Then re-install them on drive F:. The paths, shortcuts & registry entries on drive C: will then be correct.

Correct. Just to elaborate, you reinstall the programs but you choose the Custom Installation and you edit the default installation location from C to F and proceed. It is that simple.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
