Solved need to make outgoing calls from my computer which uses brig

Specs: Windows 7
my computer is relatively new and does not have a plug to connect my landline to it .. all i have are usb ports .. phone connections come from brighthouse modem

Looks like you have a cable modem. Do you subscribe to VOIP phone service with brighthouse? If so, all you need to do is connect a telephone to the modem.

If this doesn't help then explain what you are looking for.

Thank yo very much for the best answer avaiable. When my Brighthouse Installer for my 2nd telepone line was here and I told him what was needed he said he didn't know about the plug . .he was just told to install a 2nd line . which he did .. thanks for the update . you've been a real help

So, you have two telephone numbers? Is your phone service being provided by brighthouse? If that is the case then the brighthouse modem has one or more phone connections.

Your original post was confusing to me. There are methods to talk over the internet using a computer but not using a telephone connected to the computer directly.
