Specs: Windows 7, 4GB
I re-installed Windows 7 32-bit on my friends laptop. After the re-installation we found that some of the drivers could not be found. Need to find an Ethernet Controller driver and a PCI Simple Communications Controller driver. I've tried searching online and even going to the manufacturers website but I still couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite c670. I anyone needs more info about the laptop or the problem, please let me know. HELP ME!!!

Use the link ijack supplied, you always get drivers for manufactured systems from the original manufacturer of the system, NOT from component manufactures since their hardware is customized to their use, especially on laptops. The only exception is for components you have changed like a graphics card on a desktop, etc.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Like ijack said, they will be there.

If you get stuck, give us some screenshots of where you are getting stuck,

If your friend still has the CD's that came with the laptop, you should have the drivers on them. Motherboard CD is a common source.

Thanks ijack. This is awesome. But I'm not sure which driver available here is the one I need. What would Ethernet Controller driver and a PCI Simple Communications Controller driver be listed under?

The ethernet controller is your network connection. A ' PCI Simple Communications Controller' is often a modem. If the support site for that laptop shows downloads for a modem then that's likely what it is.

As long as you are sure it is model C670 & not C670D, go to page 5 as per my SS.
Once you install the LAN driver you should have an internet connection.

Give a SS of Device Manager or tell me what problems are there, after installing the driver.
