Solved Need to download free version of DLWCore.dll file

Microsoft / Windows 7 enterprise sp1(...
August 7, 2017 at 03:15:34
Specs: Windows 7, 4096 D MMb
When I google the above I get 2 options. Either download some shady toolkit or where it shows as being FREE nothing free shows up on the website. Can someone guide me to a website where I can download this file. Question is: How did I suddenly loose it?

When was the last time you did something for the first time?

✔ Best Answer
As a rule I will recommend NEVER downloading a dll file, full stop. These dll files can be tampered with to include code that can be malicious!

The best way to get the file you need is to reinstall the software that requires it. The software will place the dll files in the correct location and register them with you system.

What software is causing you a problem??

This appears to be the latest version:

Try saving the file then double clicking it to install it. It should go in on top leaving your contacts OK. If a file has gone missing it should replace it.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Windows Live Mail is not supported anymore. Perhaps a good time to look for some newer alternatives:

I assume your mailbox is now part of outlook.com (cloud)??
I'm using office365 for professional and personal use, so can't really comment on other email clients
Outlook.com is always accessible with a web browser with basic features.

I have tried "Thunderbird" and it can connect to outlook.com without problems.

This could be another alternative but have no experience with it.

Just because it is no longer supported by MS there is no real reason to change it if it serves your purpose. When did you last use MS support? Just keep the downloaded file in WLM so you can re-install it if it ever plays up.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Must be a long time ago. I'm fairly happy with WLM. I think I'll continue with it and see how it goes. Thanks to all who assistede. Highly appreciated.
