Specs: Windows 7 home premium

I would like to get help to install rational rose (RATIONAL SUITE DEVELOPMENT STUDIO) on my PC windows XP home edition, I have been trying to install it but everytime I reach the step preparing to install the following message appears "YOU ARE TRYING TO INSTALL ON AN UNSUPPORTED OPERATING SYSTEM PLEASE REFER TO RELEASE NOTES FOR THE COMPLETE LISTS OF SUPPORTED OPERATING SYSTEMS", I reached the release notes but I do not understand exactly what I have to do.
Could you help me?

It's a very old program & it seems like it's just not compatible with Windows. Is there a read-me file with the installation disk/file which tells you what the minimum requirements are to install?

r-click on the installer ( On the CD Drive should be setup.exe) go into compatibility mode and start bumping down OS's and patch levels till you get one that works. Don't be surprised if this never works though.
