need free help recovering data

Specs: Windows 7
my desk top computer hp pavalon s5000 series had to be reset to factory settings, how can all of the Email addresses and passwords be found and all the work that I have done on setting up a nonprofit housing and councelling and retraining facility for victoms of abuse,and unwanted pregnancies/ children on Americas got grants cant get into aol where my answers would be sent so I can get started with raising moneys for this project?

Well ideally you would save the data before the factory restore, as a good recovery is difficult after a new image has been installed over the old data. I use "Get Data Back" for data recovery and it works well, but isn't free. I would probably try a free program such as "PC Files Inspector" or Recuva, both work well, and should give you an idea if the data is recoverable. Here are the links.

If your project is to be a success, and many are not, you MUST maintain backups of important data. Data can be lost due to hardware failure, malicious software, operator error, etc. In many cases the data cannot be recovered without high cost - if at all. You must be prepared when, not if, you experience data loss.

Many businesses have failed, and at great cost to their owners, because they failed to maintain backups.

Recuva is a free program that can help you get some of your data back, it may take a while on a large drive, but it has a chance of recovering some of your data.
you must always make backups of projects. J.I.C
