Need a batch file to remove empty lines

Hi Can any one help me here, i have a text file

like this , i need to remove all empty lines from here . i tried this option already.

for /f "tokens=* delims= " %%a in (C:\log\DEVolap.log) do echo %%a>>DEVOLAP.txt

still it didnt work, it may be because of trailing spaces, can anyone help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

You should post this question in the Office forum to maximize the number of people who can help you.
You can convert/import the file into an Excel spreadsheet and working on it will be easier. You can, if the order of the lines is not important, 'alphabetize' the list and that will put the blanks at the end to be deleted easily, or sort out the blanks and delete them.
BUT on the office forum you can get the best advice....

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
