Go to/contact where you purchased it, they should be able to test it and there should be some sort of warranty on it for at least a few months.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Its more than 1 zear since I purchased it. When I contacted the seller in Paris, France for the first time the screen got broken (before replacemet) barely 4 months after purchase, I was informed that the warrantz excludes the LCD screen.

Language barrier here?

You state you replaced the SCREEN and 3 weeks later it has failed. Contact the seller of the SCREEN for warranty replacement.

The seller simply sold the screen, but did not carry out the replacement. I did the replacement myself, with the help of a colleague.

Still, if the screen is defective it seems as though there should be a parts warranty.

Are you sure the screen is the problem? Is the screen totally black, or is it grey with very faint images?
