Specs: Windows 7
my toshiba says i have no internet connection, unless I plug in ethernet cable.. I need my wireless turned back on , how do i do this??

Go to Device Manager and then click on Network adapters in the list of "devices" you will see shown.

Select the one for wifi (likely it's a Broadcom adapter). Right click on it and see if shows as disabled. If it is disabled then "enable" it.

Many laptops have a slider switch to disable or enable wireless. Look for the switch on either side of your laptop. If we knew a model number of your laptop we could tell you for sure.

Good point re' slider switch. I recall that some hp/compaq laptops a few years back had an enable/disable "button" top right of the keyboard area - just below the bottom of the display bezel/frame. It glowed blue when "enabled" and I think was unlit when not enabled. There were three or four other "buttons" there alongside it...; can't recall what they "dun"...
