Specs: Windows 7, celeron(R) Dual-Core
My laptop is a windows 7 HP G61 NoteBook PC...

sorry not sure if this is the right place to post but...

when i turn on my laptop it comes up with and black screan saying...

windows faild to start a recent hardware or software change might be the cause ect for a few seconds...

then says windows is loading files.....

then goes on to say windows has encountered a problem comunicating with a device connected to your computer this error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an external USB drive while the device is in use or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-Rom drive that is failing. make sure any removable storage is properly connected and then restart you computer.

if you continue to recive the error message contact the hardware manufacturer.

status: 0xc00000e9

info: an unexpected I/O error has occurred.

iv tryed to restore it and all it says is drivers cannot be found...tryed to boot it up in saftety mode and that doesnt work..there isnt anything plugged into the laptop usb ect.. i dont no what to do can anyone help plzzzzzz ???

Does this happen with power cord as well as without?
Try booting to a bootable CD/DVD like a Windows 7 install or recovery disk, if it will boot try a repair from there.
Try running Memtest86 (bootable CD you can download ISO image and burn) and see if your memory tests good or not (these will also eliminate some other possibilities also in the process).
Post back results.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I have the exact same problem with the same computer. Windows crashed unexpectedly 2 days ago and keeping having variants of above error message. When I restored to a previous time when it worked ok, I started getting a black screen with cursor. Re-booting kept showing different sorts of errors - most common was a "Unknown hard error" and "Crash caused in ntdll.dll!"
