Specs: Windows 7
My computer has a lg. black strip on the right hand side and I cannot see the icons on the left hand side of the screen. I have tried different buttons on the right side of my computer, but I am not very computer savvy so I do not know what the "analog 1.,2.,3. etc. means. Can someone please help me?

If it’s Windows that’s causing the screen to be off-centre, open a Run window (Windows Logo key+R), type regedit, press Enter and in the left pane navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.

In the right pane check that the following two values, WallpaperOriginX and WallpaperOriginY are 0 (zero). If not, right-click each one, click Modify and make them zero. Restart the computer.

✔ Best Answer
Is this a PC or a laptop? The make and model number would help.
Where is this "analog 1.,2.,3.", on the keyboard? I don't think this relates to your screen.

If it is a PC with a separate monitor are there any controls on the front of the monitor that might fix it?

Another possibility is incorrect refresh rate:

For most LCD monitors a refresh rate of 60Hz works well, although it is best to use what is recommended for the monitor.

Yeah if it's a desktop with separate monitor it's most likely the monitor and not the OS or drivers. If you recently unplugged the monitor it probably lost its settings.

I would say try BIOS, just start your computer and go to BIOS and then check if you are getting the same screen !! If that is so then check the settings of your computer system's monitor !!
